Stony Brook Sewer (Princeton area) is billed January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. Billing is usage-based, with step increases as water is used. Washington Water (Titusville area) is billed on January 10, April 10, July 10, and October 10. Billing is adjusted for the 4th (November) quarter of the current year and the 1st (February) and 2nd (May) quarters of the following year. PaymentĪdded and Omitted bills are issued in October for properties which have had improvements made to the physical structure on the land.

As part of this mission, the Collector's intent is that every payment received will be posted to the respective property on the day it is received. It is our mission to fulfill the duties of this office to the best of our abilities, to educate the residents on the tax collection process, and to assist the Seniors of our Township in the application and completion of state-mandated forms for tax reduction programs. Working under the statutes of the State of New Jersey and the ordinances of the Township of Hopewell, it is the duty of this office to bill, collect, enforce and provide reports on the taxes levied by the Township, School Board, County and Fire Districts. This action is taking place due to problems at the County level. Any adjustments due to appeals will be made on the 4 th quarter (November) billing. Regular bills will be mailed in September with the November, February, and May stubs. The grace period for the August billing will remain at August 10, 2023. The Township Tax Collector will be issuing estimated tax bills in July for the 2023 third quarter (August).
